There are many artists producing work in the county and a growing number in the A&E district.  Artists living and working in the A&E District can take advantage of local and state tax benefits available to in-district artists.
Places to visit in the district: The Gallery Shop is a great place to browse and shop for visual, musical, and literary artists' wares. Also, check out Our Town Theatre for local theatrical and musical performances, as well as live music at The Green Room Lounge and 206 Alder Bistro and Bar. Enjoy seasonally visiting artists during the A&E’s various events, including Winter Fest, Kick Off to Summer, and Little Yough Summer Music Festival.
